The Fall is closely approaching, and I am thinking of all things Apples and Cinnamon! Every year our family goes to the local Apple Ranch and Pumpkin Patch to do all things fall! We go through the pumpkin maze, ride a little train, pet the animals, and of course try every type of yummy apple treat! This year, I could not wait until late October to get my apple flavor treats started. So last weekend I made Apple Cider Spice Snack Munch and loved it! With every bite the flavors of Fall were so present and delicious! I hope that you too enjoy this type of delicious treat, so today I am sharing my NEW Apple Cider Spice Munch recipe!

It’s All About Cinnamon and Nutmeg

Truthfully for me, the flavors of fall are centered around Cinnamon and Nutmeg. I love this combination as they are both bold flavors, but they don’t seem to fight with each other. Instead they work so well together whether in Apple Cider, Pumpkin Pie, or even French Toast! YUM! I love Cinnamon and a dash of Nutmeg in Coffee or Hot Apple Cider as well. I think they make it so much more of an experience than a simple drink. This year I am all about having Hot Apple Cider with Cinnamon and Nutmeg with a dollop of homemade whipped cream on top! Delicious!

What is Munch Mix?

If you have never had my Munch Mixes before, they are like Chex Muddy Buddies or Chex Mix. We have several family members that are Gluten Free, so it is nice to be able to use a Rice Chex and know that they have no Gluten in them. And of course, I guess I could kid myself into believing that this yummy treat is somewhat healthy since it starts with a whole grain cereal. Right? Okay, maybe that is too far of a stretch, but I do love the crunch and believe your family will as well!
