Fun Ways to Brighten Your Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching! I love to take a moment and plan a little brightness into the winter gray, by adding pops of Valentine’s color and fun. I only add a few touches here and there for Valentine’s Day. After putting away the Christmas decorations, I am never highly motivated to redecorate everything, or pull out loads of bins of items. But I find that little touches go a long way. The first thing I always do, is to leave some of my Christmas serving dishes, and baskets out, because of course they are red! As I was collecting the Christmas Items that would get be re purposed as Valentines Decorations, it started me thinking on Fun ways to Brighten Your Valentine’s Day by adding pops of color and fun.
Red Bowls
As I mentioned above, I use items that I have around the house that are red to get started. Sometimes decorating for Valentine’s or even serving a festive dinner can be as easy as using a Red Serving Bowl. I have a few different colors in my bowl collection, and pull them out to add a special touch to dinner on the holidays. Maybe your favorite Valentine’s Day color is Pink or Burgundy, you can pull out what you have at home to get started, and check out the Amazon links below.

Do you make breakfast for your family on Valentine’s Day? Or even just for yourself? I do! I love to make waffles with Strawberries and whipped cream, and bake bacon in the oven in the shape of a heart. It is a great way to start the day! I love that this waffle iron take it a Valentine’s step further by creating waffles in the shape of hearts! Add a little red food coloring or strawberry juice to the batter and you have pretty pink waffles! Or, use Red Velvet cake batter, or brownie batter, or….. Okay, I guess I am getting really excited about this heart shaped waffle iron! 🙂 I have also included Captain America and Mickey Mouse in you believe your Valentine would love them!
