Mother’s Day is quickly approaching!

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and I can’t wait to celebrate with my Mother and my children. As an adoptive mom, I really think Mother’s Day is the day where I remember how blessed I am. First, I have had the opportunity to parent 4 amazing, unique, beautiful personalities. The joy that each one of them brings into my life, and the memories that fill my mind are beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

Mother’s Day Gifts that Give Back

Second, I am always thankful on Mother’s Day to remember the gift of the two Birth Mothers who made my Motherhood possible. Without their work of carrying my little ones for 9 months, my Mother’s Day would not be possible. I will forever be thankful to these two women for the gift of my children.

I absolutely love this book, and have for years. Every time I read it, it reminds me of how much more I could do to give back to those around me. It is a very good and captivating true story by Laura Schroff and Alex Tresniowski. I saw Laura Schroff speak a few years ago and talk about the book and her relationship with Maurice, the boy in the story. Just hearing her story changed me. It is a very good read.

For the Mom who needs a good night’s sleep
