Summer Causebox Review
Do you love shopping for beautiful, ethically sourced products, that are friendly to the environment and women owned businesses? So do I! And that is why I have really enjoyed receiving the Causebox 4 times a year! In the 2020 Summer Causebox edition, I found a well curated box of products from around the world. All are well thought out, and with an eye towards making the world a better place. And the suggested retail value of the items I received was well over $200, and for only $49.95! Their boxes are a huge deal, all while sending their customers wonderful items to make their personal world a better place.

Time for a disclosure…I did not receive this box for free. Truthfully, I didn’t ask. I noticed the company on social media, and thought, I want that! It felt like I was purchasing a present for myself, since I would be unpacking a gift of which I had no knowledge of the contents. I loved it! And have been receiving the boxes since 2018! Many of the products are available on Amazon, and I have placed links throughout for your convenience in shopping. And, check out the Causebox website to sign up for their customized quarterly boxes.

PMD Clean
Personally, I had never heard of this technology, or this company. I was so excited to receive the PMD Clean! The focus of the PMD in my understanding is to both clean and condition the skin. The booklet that accompanies each Causebox edition shares that it will help with both a refining clean, and a smoother, healthier complexion. I love the quote shared by the PMD CEO Sam Alexander, “We believe that having beautiful, glowing skin empowers men and women to feel more confident and shine in their everyday lives”. What a wonderful mission! The retail value of the PMD Clean is $99, and of course was such a treat to receive in the Causebox which was only $49.95. You can find a few different version of the PMD on Amazon, and I have shared them below.
Pepper + Vetiver Nesting Bowls
Pepper + Vetiver has a great company mission to turn our homes into a safe haven. I am thankful for that as I always need more help in that area. I visited their website, and was happy to find that by joining their email list, I would receive 10% off my first purchase. My first visit to their website I found many beautiful items that I want in my home. The nesting dishes in Causebox are beautiful seascapes that create a peaceful morning filled with cereal and berries, or as an accent dish for serving generous dollops of whipped cream at dessert, or extra treats for game night. The beautiful bowls are of fine quality and make a great addition to my kitchen. Pepper + Vetiver supports the Malala Fund which is helping some of the 130 million girls who are not in school around the world have access to learning.

Feya Candle Co. -Reed Diffuser
I have used several of Feya Candle Co.’s products in the past and been very pleasantly happy. The Reed Diffuser included in the Summer Edition Causebox is in White Tea and Ginger. And in addition to making my home more comfortable, with every purchase from Feya Candle Co., the company gives meals to those in need, making their home a better place too. In fact, they have donated over 46,000 meals to those in need around the world.
Savhera Essential Oil Duo
Savhera is such an interesting company. It is the brainchild of Dr. Vanessa Bouche and Usri Roy. They founded the company to serve as an opportunity for women in India to gain employment as they left the life as victims of sex trafficking. Out of their collaboration grew Savhera Essential Oils. The Causebox Magazine that comes with each edition shares that the word Savhera, “Is Hindi for Morning”. I love that the company was named after a new beginning, not just for the women who would work there and grow their lives, but for each customer who is seeking a new beginning. In this edition there are two oils, one is Tracy’s Grace and the other is Secret Zest. One will calm, and the other, well, zest!
Grace and Stella- Hyaluronic Acid 101
Personally….I had never heard of Hyaluronic Acid, but was thankful that the Causebox Magazine explained quite a bit about the aging process and how our skins moisture balance and texture can benefit from a product such as this. And of course, who out there does not want improvement in the moisture and texture of their skin? Each year, I look for products that can help mitigate and or reverse natures changes. I also appreciated learning that Grace and Stella are a vegan and cruelty-free brand.
My personal Doctor quoted to me the number of products that men and women use on their body each day. I was shocked. And how using products that are damaging can really add up in their affect on our bodies. I personally counted up that from morning to evening I typically interact with or use almost 25 different products! Um, yes. That was a bit of a shocker. But it caused me to be more intentional with the quality of the products I use, and the types of ingredients various companies use. Grace and Stella are careful with the ingredients they consider putting in products, which helps me to make better choices for my skincare.
Anna Kovecses- The Art of Play
As a person who like to reuse boxes, I enjoy that the Causebox program commissions artwork for each box. The boxes arrive sturdy, and beautifully decorated. Over the years I have used the boxes to send gifts to family members, pack away family heirlooms, and given them to my children to help organize. They are very well made, and simply gorgeous! It is as if a present arrives that you see, prior to even opening it!
Ann Kovecses is a Hungarian born artist who now lives in Cyprus. Her beautiful artwork is inspired by her childhood in Easter Europe, as well as the Mediterranean Sea as well as so much more. You can also find her illustrations in children’s books on Amazon.
I hope that you have enjoyed this peek into the Summer Causebox! In this box, I found so many items that I have grown to love. I am excited to see improvement in my skin, home, and family’s well being over the coming weeks! My hope is that you will look into purchasing a Causebox of your own. I highly recommend them, and have never been dissatisfied! Plus, it’s always great to shop having the confidence that you are purchasing products that will not only make your home a better place, but will help those in the world around you, and truly all around the world.
